Abstract
A variety of heatsinks of high efficiency has been used in electric power devices for power conversion to maintain their performance. Recently, these heatsinks are required to have small footprint and environment-friendliness --such as small ozone depletion and reduced environmental impact --as well as high heat-dissipating performance. Accordingly, the authors have developed and put into practical use, jointly with a certain company, "POWER KICKE遊雅堂 危険性quot; --an environment-friendly vertical air-cooling heatsink-- for heat dissipation of high heat-generating devices to replace conventional heatsinks that use CFCs and CFC substitutes. This paper reports on the performance and practical applications of the new heatsink.
