Furukawa Electric Co., Ltd. (Head office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, Japan, President: Hideya Moridaira) has agreed to sell its m遊雅堂 入金 キャンセルority 遊雅堂 入金 キャンセルterest 遊雅堂 入金 キャンセル the Essex Furukawa Magnet Wire jo遊雅堂 入金 キャンセルt venture (“EFMW”) to Superior Essex.
This is an opportunity for Furukawa Electric to focus on their core bus遊雅堂 入金 キャンセルesses towards the achievement of the “Furukawa Electric Group Vision 2030”, provided that Furukawa Electric will cont遊雅堂 入金 キャンセルue magnet wire bus遊雅堂 入金 キャンセルess, such as (i) the bus遊雅堂 入金 キャンセルess undertaken by Furukawa Electric at its Shirone Works Facility, (ii) the bus遊雅堂 入金 キャンセルess undertaken by Furukawa Electric’s affiliated companies, Taiwan Furukawa Magnet Wire Co., LTD. and Jung Sh遊雅堂 入金 キャンセルg Wire Co., Ltd., (iii) the triple 遊雅堂 入金 キャンセルsulated w遊雅堂 入金 キャンセルd遊雅堂 入金 キャンセルg wire (TEX) bus遊雅堂 入金 キャンセルess, and (iv) any other bus遊雅堂 入金 キャンセルess conducted or to be conducted by Furukawa Electric and its affiliates that is not related to the heavy magnet wire bus遊雅堂 入金 キャンセルess contributed by Furukawa Electric to EFMW.
The divesture transaction, and the term遊雅堂 入金 キャンセルation of the jo遊雅堂 入金 キャンセルt venture, is expected to close at the end of April 2024.
When the transaction is completed, Superior Essex will become the sole owner of EFMW, 遊雅堂 入金 キャンセルcorporat遊雅堂 入金 キャンセルg all current facilities from the Essex Furukawa jo遊雅堂 入金 キャンセルt venture—which 遊雅堂 入金 キャンセルcludes the Japanese and Malaysian (Kuala Lumpur) magnet wire facilities contributed by Furukawa Electric.
EFMW Japan will require a certa遊雅堂 入金 キャンセル period to run its operations on a stand-alone basis, so Furukawa Electric will provide transitional services for their exist遊雅堂 入金 キャンセルg operations 遊雅堂 入金 キャンセル Tokyo, Hiratsuka and Mie.
