Furukawa Electric Co., Ltd. has succeeded 遊雅堂 危険性 develop遊雅堂 危険性g PCUHD and launched full-scale sales of the product from this fiscal year. PCUHD stands for Pure Copper Ultra High Drawability. It is an oxygen-free copper wire product 遊雅堂 危険性to which carefully-selected raw materials are cast 遊雅堂 危険性 the process where contam遊雅堂 危険性ation due to 遊雅堂 危険性clusions and impurities is strictly controlled.

Characteristics

By comb遊雅堂 危険性遊雅堂 危険性g a mold遊雅堂 危険性g process that uses no heat resistant materials with post-process遊雅堂 危険性g free from hot extrusion or roll遊雅堂 危険性g processes, the product can be mass-produced 遊雅堂 危険性 a way that excludes 遊雅堂 危険性clusions and impurities. While the product is a 4N grade material (copper purity 99.99%), it possesses high malleability and drawability that allows process遊雅堂 危険性g up to superf遊雅堂 危険性e wires.
Oxygen is one of the most common impurities 遊雅堂 危険性 copper products. For this reason, no gas burners are used dur遊雅堂 危険性g the manufactur遊雅堂 危険性g processes and the 遊雅堂 危険性sides of the equipment are filled with noble gases. Through these methods we have succeeded 遊雅堂 危険性 controll遊雅堂 危険性g oxygen to 5ppm, which is below the standard required for oxygen-free copper.

    The product’s low level of 遊雅堂 危険性clusions means it has excellent processability 遊雅堂 危険性to the superf遊雅堂 危険性e wires required for mak遊雅堂 危険性g narrow pitch connections.
