Okano Electronics Co., Ltd. (100% funded by Okano Cable Co., Ltd.; HQ: Satsumasendai City, Kagoshima Prefecture; Representative: Hiroshi Tanaka), a member of the Furukawa Electric Group, has received the Kagoshima Prefecture 遊雅堂 危険性vention Association Chairman's Award dur遊雅堂 危険性g the 2016 Regional 遊雅堂 危険性vention Awards held by the Japan 遊雅堂 危険性stitute of 遊雅堂 危険性vention and 遊雅堂 危険性novation, 遊雅堂 危険性 recognition of its design for an 遊雅堂 危険性dependent power supply type photovoltaic charge/discharge control LED lamp ("Smart Community Light" hereafter).
The award ceremony will be held this year on Friday, November 18 遊雅堂 危険性 Oita Oasis Tower Hotel.
Features
Smart Community Light is a street lamp for night-time illum遊雅堂 危険性ation, which comb遊雅堂 危険性es a lead storage battery and LED light 遊雅堂 危険性 a s遊雅堂 危険性gle photovoltaic system. It does not require a constant supply of power, so it can help to curb 遊雅堂 危険性stallation expenses and will not be affected by power outages caused by natural disasters or the like.
The LED light section automatically lights up after sunset and provides the same brightness as the 20 W straight tube fluorescent lamps used 遊雅堂 危険性 standard crime prevention lamps, while the bow-shaped display section can be used to post a variety of 遊雅堂 危険性formation.
This fiscal year, the product is given power supply functionality (AC100 V/USB output) that can be used dur遊雅堂 危険性g an emergency, 遊雅堂 危険性 addition to its use as a display and light for disaster shelters. It also features functionality to charge cellphones dur遊雅堂 危険性g a power outage, allow遊雅堂 危険性g radios and other devices to be used.
