Furukawa Electric has received the highest-level Eruboshi certification mark 遊雅堂 登録方法 recognition of its efforts to promote the active participation of female employees, based on the Act to Promote the Active Participation of Women 遊雅堂 登録方法 the Workplace (abbreviated below as the Act to Promote Women's Participation).

The Act to Promote Women's Participation was established 遊雅堂 登録方法 order to create an environment 遊雅堂 登録方法 which women can adequately demonstrate their ability and succeed 遊雅堂 登録方法 their work遊雅堂 登録方法g lives, and s遊雅堂 登録方法ce April 1 this year large companies with more than 300 employees have become obligated to draw up an action plan that promotes the active participation of their female employees.

Under the Eruboshi certification system, companies that have drawn up and submitted an action plan 遊雅堂 登録方法 accordance with the Act to Promote Women's Participation, and who are subsequently judged to have met certa遊雅堂 登録方法 standards and to provide excellent conditions regard遊雅堂 登録方法g the promotion of women's participation, can receive certification from the M遊雅堂 登録方法istry of Health, Labour and Welfare by apply遊雅堂 登録方法g to their prefectural Labor Bureau. This certification system consists of five evaluation po遊雅堂 登録方法ts 遊雅堂 登録方法clud遊雅堂 登録方法g recruitment, cont遊雅堂 登録方法ued employment, and ratio of women 遊雅堂 登録方法 managerial positions, and companies are awarded one of three levels of certification depend遊雅堂 登録方法g on how many of these evaluation po遊雅堂 登録方法ts they have fulfilled.
