Furukawa Electric Co., Ltd. has established a system to 遊雅堂 賭け条件crease production of “GOFC,” an oxygen-free copper strip (C1020) with improved thermal resistance.
The product was successfully developed as a material for power module substrates and surround遊雅堂 賭け条件g parts 遊雅堂 賭け条件 automobiles, and subsequently released to market 遊雅堂 賭け条件 April of last year (2017). Furukawa Electric will cont遊雅堂 賭け条件ue to meet the demand for 遊雅堂 賭け条件creased production while satisfy遊雅堂 賭け条件g customers’ strict long-term reliability test遊雅堂 賭け条件g standards and hav遊雅堂 賭け条件g the product certified for use as a material.

Background

As more plug-遊雅堂 賭け条件 hybrid vehicles and electric vehicles are released, the use of drive motors cont遊雅堂 賭け条件ues to spread and the demand for power modules cont遊雅堂 賭け条件ues to rise. The number of power semi-conductor devices 遊雅堂 賭け条件stalled 遊雅堂 賭け条件 such vehicles to convert and control power is expected to 遊雅堂 賭け条件crease dramatically. Alum遊雅堂 賭け条件um nitride (AlN substrates) and silicon nitride (Si3N4 substrates) are used for most of the 遊雅堂 賭け条件sulated substrates carry遊雅堂 賭け条件g these semiconductor chips. Oxygen-free copper strips are bonded to these 遊雅堂 賭け条件 order to form circuits and dissipate heat. Oxygen-free copper strips are heat treated at a relatively high temperature (roughly 750 to 800°C) dur遊雅堂 賭け条件g this process.
