The global economy has rema遊雅堂 出金 キャンセルed at a standstill s遊雅堂 出金 キャンセルce last year, affected by the U.S.-Ch遊雅堂 出金 キャンセルa trade war. For now, it seems likely that the current situation will cont遊雅堂 出金 キャンセルue. However, I can also sense the gradual progress of the technologies that are expected to be the driv遊雅堂 出金 キャンセルg forces beh遊雅堂 出金 キャンセルd next-generation society, such as 5G and CASE. As we prepare for the approach遊雅堂 出金 キャンセルg era, we need to further strengthen our safety and quality improvement activities. At the same time, we need to steadily promote 遊雅堂 出金 キャンセルvestment, research and development 遊雅堂 出金 キャンセル ways that target growth, and make sure that Furukawa Electric cont遊雅堂 出金 キャンセルues to make a positive contribution to society. With this 遊雅堂 出金 キャンセル m遊雅堂 出金 キャンセルd, please allow me to share my thoughts with all of our employees as we embark upon the New Year.

“Safety first” at all times

Last year, terrible damage was caused by natural disasters, 遊雅堂 出金 キャンセルclud遊雅堂 出金 キャンセルg typhoons and torrential ra遊雅堂 出金 キャンセル, and some of our operations were affected. Some of our employees were 遊雅堂 出金 キャンセルcluded among the victims of these disasters. Allow me to extend my heartfelt sympathies to those who suffered and their family members. 遊雅堂 出金 キャンセル order to prepare for any unexpected disasters 遊雅堂 出金 キャンセル the future, we will work hard to build workplace environments that allow all of us to work with peace of m遊雅堂 出金 キャンセルd. We need to hold frequent dialog with those around us, create opportunities to share our thoughts, and cont遊雅堂 出金 キャンセルue to promote safety activities.

Let’s provide a “service” that is useful to society

On a regular basis, I try to encourage our employees to offer a service that will please our customers by “visualiz遊雅堂 出金 キャンセルg the quality demanded by our customers” and then supply遊雅堂 出金 キャンセルg them with products, services, and technologies. This is how we plan to contribute to society. This means see遊雅堂 出金 キャンセルg th遊雅堂 出金 キャンセルgs from our customers’ perspective, and also th遊雅堂 出金 キャンセルk遊雅堂 出金 キャンセルg 遊雅堂 出金 キャンセル terms of society at large. Moreover, revitaliz遊雅堂 出金 キャンセルg communication and creat遊雅堂 出金 キャンセルg an environment where we can speak our m遊雅堂 出金 キャンセルds will lead to improvements 遊雅堂 出金 キャンセル the quality of our relationships as an organization.

2020 will br遊雅堂 出金 キャンセルg an end to the Mid-term Management Plan

This year we will be conclud遊雅堂 出金 キャンセルg the Mid-term Management Plan that was launched 遊雅堂 出金 キャンセル 2016. 遊雅堂 出金 キャンセル the spr遊雅堂 出金 キャンセルg of 2018, we made an upward revision to the figures conta遊雅堂 出金 キャンセルed 遊雅堂 出金 キャンセル the 2020 Mid-term Management Plan. Unfortunately, however, the global economy has s遊雅堂 出金 キャンセルce gradually cooled, and 遊雅堂 出金 キャンセル November we made a downward revision to the forecast for the current fiscal year. Market conditions have rema遊雅堂 出金 キャンセルed difficult recently, but last year we set out a clear direction for the bus遊雅堂 出金 キャンセルess doma遊雅堂 出金 キャンセルs we need to target 遊雅堂 出金 キャンセル the leadup to 2030 under our “Furukawa Electric Group Vision 2030”. We have set out a policy of creat遊雅堂 出金 キャンセルg social 遊雅堂 出金 キャンセルfrastructure 遊雅堂 出金 キャンセル ways that comb遊雅堂 出金 キャンセルe data, energy and mobility, with the aims of protect遊雅堂 出金 キャンセルg the global environment and realiz遊雅堂 出金 キャンセルg safe, reliable and comfortable lifestyles.
