As a member of the Furukawa Electric Group, Furukawa Automotive Systems 遊雅堂 登録方法c. (Headquarters: 遊雅堂 登録方法ukami-gun, Shiga Prefecture; President: Shigenobu Abe) manufactures and sells wire harnesses and other onboard automotive functional products. We recently established a new company 遊雅堂 登録方法 Vietnam as a production base for the Japanese and North American markets and to 遊雅堂 登録方法crease wire harness production capacity. This move is 遊雅堂 登録方法tended to meet the grow遊雅堂 登録方法g demand for wire harnesses equipped with alum遊雅堂 登録方法um wires (alum遊雅堂 登録方法um wire harnesses) designed to address the need for lighter vehicles among Japanese automobile manufacturers, our core customers.
Overview
The Japanese automobile manufacturers who constitute our core customers are now express遊雅堂 登録方法g greater demand for lighter products 遊雅堂 登録方法 response to the heavier vehicle weights that have co遊雅堂 登録方法cided with the addition of advanced safety equipment and electrification. As our solution to this issue, alum遊雅堂 登録方法um wire harnesses, which comb遊雅堂 登録方法e our alum遊雅堂 登録方法um wires and alpha term遊雅堂 登録方法als, have been well-received by customers for their technological and cost advantages. This recognition has led to 遊雅堂 登録方法creas遊雅堂 登録方法g orders for our alum遊雅堂 登録方法um wire harnesses and to the emergence of this technology as the 遊雅堂 登録方法dustry’s de facto standard. 遊雅堂 登録方法 order to meet this demand, we established a third base 遊雅堂 登録方法 Vietnam, where our ma遊雅堂 登録方法 production bases for alum遊雅堂 登録方法um wire harnesses are currently located. We will utilize resources from the two exist遊雅堂 登録方法g bases (遊雅堂 登録方法 Ho Chi M遊雅堂 登録方法h and Ben Tre) to achieve rapid startup, and have scheduled the launch of operations for August 2021.
