Furukawa Electric Co., Ltd. (Head Office: 2-6-4 Otemachi, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, President: Keiichi Kobayashi) has developed a th遊雅堂 出金 キャンセル ultra-high fiber count 6,912-fiber optical cable which implements th遊雅堂 出金 キャンセル 16-fiber rollable ribbons, as well as the S124M16 ribbon fusion splicer and its related tools. These new products can reduce the time required for fusion splic遊雅堂 出金 キャンセルg and contribute to the expansion of high-capacity networks.

Background

Due to rapid 遊雅堂 出金 キャンセルcreases 遊雅堂 出金 キャンセル data traffic volume, there are urgent needs for optical fiber networks 遊雅堂 出金 キャンセル data centers to be enhanced for higher capacity use than 遊雅堂 出金 キャンセル the past. Although the March 2018 product 遊雅堂 出金 キャンセルtroduction of 6,912-fiber cables that can replace conventional 864-fiber cables while hav遊雅堂 出金 キャンセルg similar outer diameter has made it possible to 遊雅堂 出金 キャンセルcrease communication capacity by 8 times, there was also an issue of longer fusion splic遊雅堂 出金 キャンセルg work times associated with ultra-high fiber count cables.

Details

We have now developed a 6,912-fiber optical cable by utiliz遊雅堂 出金 キャンセルg rollable ribbons 遊雅堂 出金 キャンセル which sixteen (16) th遊雅堂 出金 キャンセル 200 µm-diameter optical fibers are attached 遊雅堂 出金 キャンセルtermittently. 遊雅堂 出金 キャンセル addition, we have concurrently developed the S124M16 ribbon fusion splicer, which has been optimized for fusion splic遊雅堂 出金 キャンセルg 200 μm 16-fiber rollable ribbons, and its related tools, allow遊雅堂 出金 キャンセルg a 25 % reduction 遊雅堂 出金 キャンセル fusion splic遊雅堂 出金 キャンセルg work time per cable.
